InnerRoads Wilderness Program helps struggling teens change direction, find motivation, build self-worth and insight, develop interpersonal skills, and better understand the connection between their actions and consequences.
This intensive
intervention for adolescents ages 14-17 combines a four-week wilderness expedition with integrated family and community components. InnerRoads Wilderness Program begins with youth embarking on a 30-day backpacking trip through wilderness areas in Montana and Idaho.
After the wilderness, youth spend two weeks engaging in family work and community-based service projects that help carry the growth made in the wilderness into their families and community. InnerRoads Wilderness Program has successfully reunited dozens of families, with over 85% of youth returning home and being successful at home one year after graduation from our program.
Aftercare services are available to help support your family after your teen returns home. We would like to help you bring your teen home.
