InnerRoads Wilderness Program is located in
Missoula, Montana. Voted in 2009, The Most Playful

City, Missoula is an outdoor person’s paradise. It’s no secret our community values outdoor stewardship and recreation.
Youth will have the privilege of experiencing western Montana’s beautiful country. Our summer and fall expeditions operate in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, the third largest wilderness area in the lower 48. It consists of over 1,340,500 acres of road-less backcountry. View a map of the
Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness (find Selway-Bitterroot in the Wilderness form).
While you are in Missoula, you might try and sqeeze in some outdoor activities to get a taste of Montana life: kayak Brennan's Wave, hike in the Rattlesnake Wilderness Area, bike down the Kim Williams Trail, raft on the Clark Fork River, catch a Griz Football game, or walk downtown during First Friday art walk.
For more information about our community, including how to get here and where to stay, please visit the
Chamber of Commerce or
