Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent!

Partnership for Children’s teams support families in Missoula, Ravalli, Lake, and Flathead Counties with offices in Missoula and Ronan.

Why kids need your help:
More children need foster families than families available. This disparity increases every year. Children in our care have experienced abuse, neglect, trauma or loss that negatively impacts their ability to trust or form healthy relationships with adults. By becoming a foster parent, you can create a sense of security, connection, and belonging for a child.

How we support you:
We provide training that encourages healthy communication, relationship building, and attuning to the developmental needs of the child in your care. Our support includes weekly visits from a Treatment Coordinator and support from Respite Care Providers and other community services. We also provide a monthly financial stipend, crisis support, parent support group and health care coverage for the child.

Foster Parent requirements:

Provide a caring, safe and nurturing home;
18 years of age and have some experience with children;
An income sufficient to support the family;
Willing to participate in a screening and home study process and on-going training.
