Therapeutic Group Homes
These homes are located in neighborhoods with a strong design for therapeutic and mental health interventions with trained youth care workers in the homes and therapists as part of the team. We operate three therapeutic group homes that have a capacity of six youngsters at one time; serving adolescents ages 12 through 17. While lengths of stay vary, youth placements after care include transitioning back home or being placed into foster care. For older youth this might be transferring to our Tom Roy Youth Guidance Home. Our group homes are designed to serve adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. These youth often have involvement with Child Services and/or Youth Courts.
Referrals can be made by public child agencies (such as Case Managers, Child Protection Workers, Juvenile Probation Officers, Juvenile Parole, Tribal Agencies and parents with the ability to pay for room and board. Treatment costs are covered by Montana Medicaid and may be covered by private insurance.
