Counselor Survey Information

Throughout the years, the United States has witnessed an expansion in the cultural diversity of its population.  As can be expected, this abundance of cultures and ethnicities has presented tremendous challenges and opportunities to mental health professionals.  Like many professionals and agencies in our communities, we at the Youth Homes have felt those challenges as well. Because of this, we seek to bring the community together to address the challenges we as professionals face in dealing with the issues of culture and ethnicity.   We are committed to the process of developing cross-cultural competency at every level of our organization for serving children in our care.  We also seek to promote an atmosphere within the organization, and among the people they serve, and the broader community that increases awareness and appreciation for different cultures. 

In an effort to better meet the needs of culturally diverse client populations in the Missoula community; we would appreciate your participation in this survey.  This survey will help determine the training needs of area agencies and professionals.  Youth Homes welcomes the opportunity and challenge to participate with you in this journey.
