How You Can Help

Adopt a Home

Adopt-A-Home is a special commitment and relationship defined by the donor to care for some needs of a home and the children living there. The donor may help with needed recreational equipment or bedroom decorations. The donor decides the frequency of their contacts, but the effort always includes direct participation with the children and becoming, as a group, part of their "extended family of caring."

Activities may include birthday celebrations, attending Griz games, bicycle outings, picnics—any activity that involves healthy lifestyles and a chance to "connect" for our children and the donor/volunteer.

On a smaller scale, donors can Adopt-A-Room in a home and commit to preparing and/or maintaining it for an extended period to ensure each child has a safe and welcome environment as they are being placed.
